Study Hall

Similar to Board and Train, Four Legged Scholars will Train Your Dog For You!

Four Legged Scholars will come to your home 2-3 times a week for an hour each time and train your dog without your presence.  Once a week Four Legged Scholars will meet with you to make sure that your dog is obedient for you too.

Why is Study Hall beneficial?

  • You have less homework. This program works great for owners that have busy schedules.
  • Your dog will learn the commands faster because your dog is receiving training from Four Legged Scholars and from yourself.  Therefore, your dog is receiving training more often.
  • It is great for puppies.  Puppies can be much work.  Allow yourself to have training support for your puppy throughout the week.
  • Your dog receives mental stimululation while you are away.  Think of Study Hall as an opportunity for your dog to receive exercise while learning commands at the same time!

Study Hall works best for basic commands such as:

  • Leash Walking
  • Stay
  • Come
  • Leave It
  • Sit
  • Down
  • Jumping
  • Place
  • Etc.

What Others are Saying About Study Hall :

“Johanna’s love for her canine clients is evident from the first moment she interacts with a pet. She truly celebrates their learning with them every time they reach a new milestone. Sometimes when she is working with Ginger and me, I like to step into the next room for a moment (on some pretense or another) just to listen to her encouraging conversations with Ginger. Like anyone who is truly passionate about what they do, Johanna is creative, patient, humane and full of energy for every training session she has with us. Ginger and I both light up when we see her coming up the front steps! We both know that the fun of learning and the joy of accomplishment are about to begin.” – Terri Holbrooke with Ginger (Cocker Spaniel)

If you dog has behavior issues such as aggression or fear behavior, we need to start with Private (Tutoring) Training first.
